Wow! It’s pretty crazy to think that we are at the half-way point of camp, and in the final stretch of the trip! Spending time in the classrooms the first week was amazing, and many blessings and great friendships were started through that time. Now, we are here at camp with about 50 amazing students! Although the first day was a little uncomfortable, the ice seems to now be broken between us and the students. They have begun to fully engage in activities, seek us out for jelly talks, and spend their free time hanging out with us. Friendships have been planted through line dancing, art, sports, and silly songs. It has been a blessing to get to know these amazing students and to hear their stories! It is so encouraging to see how excited they are to be able to attend the new high school in the fall. I know that this school will bless their lives, if they open their hearts to all that God is doing through it.
“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders You have done, the things You planned for us. None can compare with You; were I to speak and tell of Your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” – Psalm 40:5
So thankful for all your prayers!
