Good morning (or at least it is here in Martin)! I am sitting here in the town square using the free public wifi hotspot, life is great! The morning is cool, as we just were blessed with a thunderstorm in the night. This is a very good fact when you consider that in a few short hours, students will be coming into classrooms that get direct sunlight, and typically become very hot.
The mood among the team is optimistic, and we know that God will bring the right people into the classes. I would ask prayer for today, as the students (and us team members) are very nervous on the first day. To have comfort from God would be beyond value. Further, I would ask prayer for a sensitivity of heart to be able to know when those moments God places in our path to share his love with 1. students and 2. each other.
For now, I thank you all for reading the blog and praying for us. It means more than words can describe to know that there are so many people praying for this ministry. We are simply allowed to be used by God in some small way. The classes are great, and there is value in teaching English, but the real purpose comes in the connections and relationships we are able to build.
