HS camp is next week!

For some people, they say the happiest place on earth is Disneyland. Martin is my Disneyland, it is the trip that makes me so much more excited for summer to get here. This place is in my thoughts all throughout the year, I’m thinking, praying, and wondering how it is doing… I try to keep up with my friends I’ve made in creative ways. The last three summers have been spent here with many of the same people, the team always has a chance to make plans and keep busy with what they want checked off lists, and some annual plans that we look forward to doing each time and I am always reminded of this the moment I begin losing sight of it:

“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:20

We hit the ground running coming in late night on Saturday for an early church service the next morning, you ought to see how this team works though! They are filled with desire to serve Him really and radically. Every day we  have gotten to walk around and see all of the beautiful sights (after we have eaten all of the glorious food we can order from non-English speaking waiters that is) that Slovakia has to offer, the sunsets have gotten more and more beautiful each night. I get to take those walks with some outstanding people. Just getting to be a small part of this community has been so amazing, I am just so happy to be here once more this summer.

I would ask for prayer on these things:

  • Patience that can reach for miles.
  • Being made comfortable with lack of knowing details for HS camp next week.
  • To continue my way out of my comfort zone.

Thank you team back home for all the love notes and the prayer, we see they are working! EOG (eyes on God)
